Route 20 Changes: New Stops & New Times

Effective Thursday, May 8, 2025

Updated Departure Times – Cultural Center (Northbound)

Please note: Northbound buses will leave the Cultural Center a few minutes earlier on most trips to allow time for new stops in Smith River.

New departure times from the Cultural Center (Northbound)

6:00 AM | 8:20 AM | 1:19 PM / 1:25 PM | 3:54 PM | 5:40 PM

Key Changes

  • New Northbound Stops in Smith River:
  • United Indian Health Services (UIHS): Indian Road North, across from the Casino
  • Ship-A-Shore: Royale Street

Note: These stops are northbound only and are available for boarding and exiting. Transfers to/from the Curry Coastal Express are NOT available at these locations.

Transfer Information

  • All transfers between Route 20 and Curry Public Transit’s Coastal Express will continue at La Joya Market (US 101 & Sarina Road).
  • Reminder: No transfers at UIHS or Ship-A-Shore.

Walmart Now a Regular Stop

Route 20 will now stop at the Crescent City Walmart Supercenter on all northbound and southbound trips.

Southbound Service Update

To improve schedule reliability, southbound buses will not stop at UIHS or Ship-A-Shore.

Dial-A-Ride

Wheelchair-accessible curb-to-curb service is available throughout the Crescent City area. Please call for a reservation at least one day before your travel date.

Dial-A-Ride operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays.
